Sagres is commonly associated with the sea and its beaches but its natural wealth goes much further: it includes cliffs of different geological formations, temporary ponds, Mediterranean woods (with its many endemic plants), heath land (important and rare Biotype), pine forests and much more.

The first itineraries were designed and prepared to show, in a single walk, the different natural landscapes of the Sagres Biogenetic Reserve. Three circular footpaths were created, all in the Sagres Biogenetic Reserve (Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina). The walks take around 3 to 4 hours (normal walk with short stop) and medium degree of difficulty as you walk on sandy or rocky soil. On Saturdays, you can join on a small circular walk suitable for families with babies and small children. Walkin'Sagres provides baby slings. For this activity, we do not accept more than two families and kids come for free.

Depending on the walk, the meeting point is at the restaurant “O Vigia”, opposite Beliche beach, or in the restaurant "São Vincente 'opposite Forte do Beliche. There are no transfers available unless you don´t have any means to get to the meeting point. The tours will take place always in the morning and with a maximum of nine people (total 10 with the guide).
